We have an excellent opportunity for an associate to join our high quality small animal practices. Each hospital is fully equipped with highly educated and utilized team members and modern equipment. We are looking for a vet with excellent people skills who desires to be a part of a team oriented approach. Recent graduates are all welcome.
The role of our veterinarians is to offer the best medical care that we have available for our patients and to help suit the needs of our clients. The veterinarians perform physical examinations on the patients to diagnose disease or other aliments, they prescribe medication or nutritional diets that are necessary to improve the health of the patient, and perform surgical procedures.
- Customer Relations Specialist (Receptionist)
Excellent, professional contact with clients and pets. Telephone reception. Appointment reception and scheduling. Check side notes for any drugs to be shipped. File preparation. Certificate preparation. Explain, dispense, promote food and over the counter products. Market services needed for optimum pet health care. Maintain office supply inventory. Admission and discharge for routine patient care.
- In Patient Nurse
Assist DVM with all animal treatments when needed. Hospital treatments. Anaesthetic induction. Monitor all anaesthesia cases until fully awake. Surgical and post surgical monitoring. Maintenance of surgical instruments, radiograph facilities, and monitors. Perform routine lab tests - fecals, heartworm, in-house serology. Clean teeth and perform dental prophylaxis as instructed. Perform nail trims, ear flushes, anal glands, etc.
- Out Patient Nurse
Provide preliminary contact/exam with owner/pet. Maintain exam room equipment and supplies. Puppy, kitten, senior talks, weight loss talks. Promote use of all vaccines, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, wellness testing. Assist in taking x-rays, developing and processing if asked. Reminder vaccine, HWT, recalls. Teach clients proper medication administration.
- Animal Care Representatives
Assure comfort and well being of in hospital pets and boarders. Monitor nutrition. Bathing grooming. Cleaning and maintenance of all hospital areas. Provide assistance to all technical staff.
