Donated $4250 To Local OSPCA

November 24, 2014 in CK Vets, Events, Blenheim, Chatham, Ridgetown, Wallaceburg

We are happy to donate $4250 to the Kent Branch of the OSPCA. The funds will be used to purchase much needed equipment to help the OSPCA continue to make a huge difference in the lives of animals in need.

On Saturday November 22, we held our third annual “Soiree for Strays” at Retro Suites in Chatham. We were joined by 100 clients, friends and supporters of the OSPCA. The $4250 raised from the ticket sales and auction items will be used to fill the wish list of equipment that the Kent OSPCA requires.

We have been a longtime supporter of the Kent OSPCA and are proud to be able to partner with the organization to continue to bring care, shelter and adoption services to Chatham-Kent’s animals in need. “Their facilities are currently quite small and resources are limited, so we want to offer them any help we can”, said Caitlin Goldhawk, veterinarian in Ridgetown.

The Kent Branch of the OSPCA, a non-profit charitable organization, is responsible for the humane care of pets in Chatham-Kent. They offer care and shelter for animals and enforce animal cruelty laws. www.kent.ontariospca.ca
