Our Blenheim Staff

Dr. Henry leads the Blenheim team with a combined interest in the health of pets in our community as well as their owners.

  • Trevor Henry, BSc, DVM
    Veterinarian / Partner

Dr. Trevor Henry credits his grandfather, a dairy farmer and blacksmith from Prince Edward Island, for his strong desire to work with both his hands and his mind to make a difference every day. Dr. Henry attended the Atlantic Veterinary College, where he earned his BSc and DVM. With over 20 years of experience as a veterinarian, he is as interested in the pet owners themselves as he is the pets; to Dr. Henry, they often share many similarities. Every day is a new challenge, and Dr. Henry loves sharing ideas with his fellow vets and the other specialists he works with. That energy keeps him going. Dr. Henry’s family, including his wife, daughter, and son, are also very involved in the community of Chatham-Kent. (Did we mention that his second full-time job is as a Hockey Dad?)

  • Caitlin Goldhawk, DVM
    Veterinarian / Partner

Highgate is Dr. Caitlin Goldhawk’s hometown, and she is proud to have grown up in the Chatham-Kent community. She graduated from Ridgetown District High School, and from there she ventured to Guelph for university and earned her DVM at the University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Goldhawk says that what impresses her every day is how in-tune owners are with their pets. Owners know their pets like their children and are amazing at detecting subtle changes when a pet is not well. She believes the most important part of her job is to help heal those who cannot speak for themselves. Dr. Goldhawk is happily married to her husband, Dylan, and her best “fur” friend and side-kick is their rambunctious border collie named Howard. Scarlett and Conrad are her two children who keep her busy with many funny and exciting moments!

  • Courtney Tait, HBsc, DVM

Dr. Courtney Tait originally grew up in Bolton, Ontario with her family, including her identical twin sister. She fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian when she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in spring 2018. She is extremely excited to begin her career with the amazing staff that makes up the Chatham Kent Veterinary team! While Dr. Tait enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she especially loves that every day brings a different set of cases and challenges.

As a new resident of the Chatham-Kent community, Dr. Tait enjoys spending her free time exploring the city as well as hiking and playing hockey. Dr. Tait can’t wait to meet all clients and their special four-legged friends!

  • Amanda Estabrooks, DVM

Dr. Amanda Estabrooks was born and raised in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. She moved to Chatham after graduating from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2008 and has been working with the Chatham Kent Veterinary Team ever since. Dr. Estabrooks currently has two ‘fur kids’ , a loveable Jack Russell named Benny and a big, handsome cat named Monty.   She volunteers at various events throughout the year including the Mud Creek Pet Memorial Tree Planting, for which she taps into her creative side by making pages for the Mud Creek Memorial scrapbook. Dr. Estabrooks loves all aspects of veterinary medicine but particularly enjoys soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Se knows how strong the human animal bond can be and strives to help owners make educated and informed decisions regarding the healthcare of their furry family member. In her spare tie Dr. Estabrooks enjoys reading, travel, running and hiking with Benny.
