Congratulations to Tracy for 20 years in our profession…
We would like to congratulate Tracy, on behalf of all of us at the Blenheim Veterinary Hospital, and the C-K Vet Team. Tracy received a milestone award this year by earning her 20 year Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) pin. The Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT), currently has awarded this honor to 500 RVT’s in total, with this most recent year Tracy being one of 55 that received it. Currently the OAVT has an enrollment of over 3,500.
Tracy graduated from St. Clair College in the Veterinary Technician program in 1998. She chose to take this program, because she had wanted to be a veterinarian, but decided that she really wanted to be involved in taking care of the patients and as much hands on as possible. She started her career after graduation at the Kent Veterinary Hospital and the Ferguson Animal Hospital. Tracy advanced her knowledge and credentials in 2002 when she completed the Canadian Veterinary Dental Technician certification. Tracy’s favourite skill is performing dentals.
To this day Tracy still enjoys working with and helping her patients every day, interacting and helping to educate her clients.
